The White FacedMonkeyand the endangered Squirrel Monkey both have large populations here, and can easily be seen by visitors to the park. The monkey populations of Costa Rica are enormously important to the worldwide conservation effort on behalf of the Squirrel Monkey, and Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the few remaining places to see these charming creatures in the wild.
