River Rafting
There are many opportunities for excitingriver raftingin the areas surrounding tropical Jaco Beach. Located just minutes away from theluxury propertiesat Jaco Rentals, the Savegre class III and IV whitewater stretch is perfect for adventurous beginners to intermediate level rafters. Views of the surrounding jungles are beautiful and unique from the perspective of a river raft, especially along this stretch of the river. A little further afield, the Rio Naranjo class III and IV is a more advanced stretch, though still a possibility for those beginners in good physical condition who want a little excitement. Starting in the Coastal Mountain Range above Quepos, this lively whitewater stretch takes you through a jungle gorge and past secluded palm plantations and farmland.
A fun and active way to see the sights, whitewater rafting is a great group activity. Your guide will teach you how to steer and paddle, and, will choose the easy, medium, or hard route through each rapid depending on the skill level and comfort of your group.
